My name is Alicia Adams and I am a twenty-something (on the older side of my twenties) millennial that recently moved to New York City from the Midwest. I wanted to create this blog to share my adventures in the city and beyond with you. I come across things on a daily basis that surprise, shock, terrify and humble me – many of which occur on the same day. From my daily commute from the Upper East Side down to the Financial District, to the random people I meet and events I get to go to, there is always something going on in the Big Apple. I am not the first person to write about life in the big city and I surely won’t be the last, but I hope I can bring you something at least a little interesting, share raw humanity with you, at times sad, maybe make you laugh (hopefully a real belly laugh), and entertaining enough to keep you coming back for more.
